The Newark Paperboard Mills have the distinction of being the largest open-market sellers of recycled paperboard in North America. A pivotal part of The Newark Group, the Newark Paperboard Mills are comprised of 10 mills in the US, producing over one million tons of 100% recycled paperboard annually. This includes specialty folding and laminating grades for consumer product packaging, including clay-coated board. We also produce high-strength grades that are used for the full range of tube and core products, as well as for industrial packaging. And, we produce NewEx® graphicboard, the standard of excellence in graphicboard today.

Volume aside, the Newark Paperboard Mills are a critical part of the supply chain to our own businesses, as well as being critical to those companies who use our paperboard in the production of their own products.
