The Newark Group is comprised of a network of vertically integrated 100% recycled paperboard operations.

In North America, our recovered paper operations supply us with substantially all of the recovered paper used in our domestic paperboard mills, which in turn supply us with nearly all of the needs of our converting operations. In North America, we have 11 recovered paper plants, 10 paperboard mills and 23 converting plants. In Europe, we have 3 paperboard mills and 6 converting plants. We also have investments in three paper recovery businesses and 2 tube and core manufacturers.

We operate in 3 business segments: Paperboard, Converted Products and International. with 43 facilities for these purposes in North America, and 9 facilities in Europe.

Managed from our corporate headquarters in Cranford, New Jersey, The Newark Group keeps close financial and planning control of its business units, but allows decisions to be made at the operating level whenever possible. This structure gives The Newark Group the power of a large company with the entrepreneurial qualities of a smaller one.
