The recovery and recycling process cannot succeed without viable markets/outlets for the material we collect and process. We have three such outlets which allow us to be engaged in multiple markets as well as providing guaranteed movement of material.
Internal
This outlet allows for guaranteed movement of material. The Newark Group operates six paperboard consuming mills in the US providing coast-to-coast service. These mills are direct consumers of a variety of grades of secondary fiber. This is an added benefit to a potential business relationship.
Domestic
Alliances across the country enhance our ability to maximize a generator's return. Not only do we provide fiber to our company mills, but we also sell to a myriad of domestic consumers of recovered fiber.
Export
Our partnerships enable a generator's material to be considered for the best movement/added value return. While our primary focus is in the domestic market segment, we are actively involved in the export sector. Movement of material to this arena allows for the best of all worlds regarding the movement of fiber and a generator’s return.
